Terms of Service

By using AuxControl at auxcontrol.live you agree to these terms.
The service
AuxControl is a social music experiment: guests in a session queue up tracks and vote on what plays next. Sessions expire automatically after 24 hours. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may change or be discontinued at any time.
Music services
Hosts may optionally connect their own Spotify or Apple Music account. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for having the required subscription (Spotify Premium or an Apple Music subscription). AuxControl is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify, Apple, or any music service. Music playback in jukebox mode is limited to 30-second previews; full playback happens on the host's own device through the host's own apps.
Party Pass
Party Pass unlocks premium session features (such as larger lobbies). How it's sold and billed depends on where you buy it:
- Purchased on the web (auxcontrol.live). A one-time purchase that applies to a single session and expires with it. Payments are processed by Stripe. Because the pass is consumed by the session it's bought for, purchases are non-refundable once the session is used, except where required by law — but if something went wrong with your purchase, contact us and we'll make it right.
- Purchased in the iOS app. Available either as a one-time purchase for a single session, or as an auto-renewing annual subscription that unlocks Party Pass for every session you host. Both are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system, not by us, under Apple's Standard EULA. Apple handles all billing, and any refund request must go through Apple. The annual subscription renews automatically each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal; manage or cancel it anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to disrupt other people's sessions, no automated scraping or bulk requests, and no offensive display names (there's a filter, but don't make us improve it). We may end sessions that violate these rules.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (for most users: nothing).
